This area is dedicated to events that involve carrying or moving various objects. These events often have the primary objective of completing the event as fast as possible, as such, focus is given to completing the event as quickly as possible.

Moving events are a primary movement type in strongman. I classify moving events as any discipline which has one or more portions of the discipline requiring moving while under a load. Often, competition will have two of five or as many as four of seven events involving movement under load, that is 40-57% of the events and points in a contest involving movement. A few common examples of moving events are husafell carry, yoke walk, farmers walk, keg carry, frame carry, and sandbag carry.

Examples:

Yoke

Farmers Walk

Front carries (sandbag, keg, hussafelt, etc.)
